Grip Studio is a reformer Pilates studio based in the Horlicks Quarter, in the heart of Slough. We offer structured classes across three levels, seven days a week.
We keep class sizes limited — that keeps the quality of instruction high and means you will quickly get to know your instructors and fellow members.
Whether you are returning to exercise, postpartum or looking to progress your practice, we will make sure you are in the right class and supported throughout.
"We started Grip Studio because we believed Slough deserved a dedicated reformer Pilates studio that was not only carefully curated but prioritised quality instruction, felt inclusive and part of the community"

Aishah is a STOTT PILATES® trained Mat and Reformer instructor who discovered a love for movement through Pilates after being diagnosed with PCOS and seeking low-impact exercise that felt good physically and mentally. What began as a personal journey became a passion for understanding body mechanics and helping others build strength, confidence and connection through movement.
Faith

Faith discovered Pilates whilst working professionally in orthopaedics and quickly saw the impact movement can have on both physical and mental wellbeing. She is passionate about helping people feel stronger and more connected to their bodies through a calm, supportive and approachable style of teaching focused on movement for everyday life.
Flora

Sara

Sara is a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor with training in pre and postnatal Pilates, as well as first aid. Pilates gave Sara a genuine love for movement and her body, learning to appreciate the body for what it does rather than how it looks. Before you come
Good to Know
A few things that will help you get the most out of your time at Grip Studio.
Arriving
—Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class. The studio door will be closed once the class begins — late entry may be refused where it would disrupt other participants.
—If it is your first visit, please arrive 10 minutes early so your instructor can walk you through the studio and show you how the reformer works before class begins.
—Remove outdoor footwear before entering the reformer studio.
—All bookings are made through the Grip Pilates Studio app or the Mindbody platform. There is no walk-in attendance.
What to wear
—Grip socks are required at all times on the reformer studio floor. Bare feet and regular socks are not permitted on the reformers. Grip socks are available to purchase at the studio if you need them.
—Wear comfortable, sports-appropriate clothing. You will be moving through a full range of motion so make sure you can move freely.
During class
—Please silence and stow your phone before the class starts. Phone use during class is not permitted.
—Do not adjust the reformer spring settings without guidance from your instructor.
—If you feel unwell, dizzy, in pain, or otherwise unfit to continue at any point, stop and let your instructor know immediately.
—Please do not bring food or alcohol onto the studio floor.
—If you notice any equipment damage or fault, let a member of staff know straight away.
Cancellations
—You can cancel a booked class without charge up to 24 hours before the start time. Your class credit will be returned to your account.
—Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time will forfeit that session's credit. This applies regardless of the reason, including illness or injury.
—If you do not attend without cancelling, your credit will be forfeited. Founder Members will not lose their credit but will be charged a £15 no-show fee.
—This policy exists because your booked place prevents someone else from attending. We appreciate your understanding.
Your health
—Please do not attend if you are unwell or have been advised by a medical professional not to exercise.
—Our instructors are qualified fitness professionals, not medical practitioners. If you have an injury, health condition, or are pregnant or postpartum, please consult your GP before attending and let your instructor know before class.
—Please do not attend under the influence of alcohol or any substance that may affect your coordination or judgement.
Age
—Classes are open to clients aged 16 and over. Clients aged 16 or 17 must have a parent or guardian attend their first class to sign the registration form in person.
Our community
—We expect everyone at Grip Studio — clients, instructors and staff — to treat each other with courtesy and respect. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, discriminatory, threatening or harassing behaviour.
—Please be mindful of the privacy of your fellow members. If you would like to take photos or videos in the studio, please ensure you have permission from anyone that might appear in your photos or videos.
—If you have not received or signed these, please email info@grip-pilates.com before your first class.
Any questions before your first class? Get in touch at info@grip-pilates.com and we will be happy to help.
Legal
Terms & Conditions, Waiver and Privacy
Please read carefully. By attending a class at Grip Studio you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
Section B — Health Self-Declaration
Grip Studio does not collect detailed medical information, screen clients for health conditions, or provide medically adapted instruction. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to participate in reformer Pilates before each class. If you have any doubt, consult your GP or a qualified healthcare professional before attending. By signing this form you confirm that you have done so or have satisfied yourself that no such consultation is necessary.
B1 — Personal Health Responsibility
Reformer Pilates is a physically demanding activity. You are solely responsible for:
Assessing your own fitness and health before every class.
Consulting a qualified medical professional if you have any condition, injury, illness, pregnancy, or other health circumstance that may affect your ability to exercise safely.
Deciding whether to attend, modify your effort, or stop exercising at any point during a class.
Immediately informing your instructor if you feel unwell, dizzy, in pain, breathless, or otherwise unfit to continue during a class.
B2 — Instructor Role
Grip Studio instructors are fitness professionals, not medical practitioners. They will deliver class instruction in accordance with their training but they cannot and will not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or individualised adaptations for health conditions. Grip Studio does not accept any responsibility for injury or adverse health events arising from participation where the client has not taken appropriate personal medical precautions.
B3 — Declaration
By signing Section F of this form, you confirm that:
You have read and understood the above.
You accept full and sole responsibility for your health and fitness to participate.
You will not attend a class if you are unwell, injured, or if you have been advised by a medical professional not to exercise.
You will not hold Grip Studio Ltd, its directors, staff, or instructors responsible for any injury, illness, or adverse event arising from your failure to take appropriate personal health precautions.
Section C — Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By signing this form you agree to be legally bound by them. If you have questions, contact us at info@grip-pilates.com before signing.
C1 — The Parties
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between Grip Studio Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (“Grip Studio”, “we”, “us”, “our”), whose registered office is at Block K, Horlicks Quarter, Slough, Berkshire, and the individual named in Section A of this form (“you”, “the Client”). These Terms govern all use of Grip Studio’s services, classes, and facilities, and all bookings made through the Grip Pilates Studio app or the Mindbody platform (together, the “Platform”).
C2 — Booking
All class bookings must be made in advance exclusively through the Platform. There is no walk-in attendance. Grip Studio does not accept bookings by telephone, email, or in person.
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation is issued via the Platform.
By booking a class, you are reserving a specific reformer in a class of limited capacity. You are responsible for attending every class you book. If you do not attend, your place cannot be taken by another client.
C3 — Pricing
Current pricing for all Founder Memberships, class packages, and any other offerings is published on the Platform and at grip-pilates.com.
Grip Studio reserves the right to amend pricing at any time and without prior notice. Any price change will take effect from the next billing cycle or booking date, as applicable. It is your responsibility to review current pricing on the Platform before booking.
All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
C4 — Cancellation & No-Show Policy
You may cancel a booked class without penalty provided you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled class start time via the Platform. The class credit used to make the booking will be returned to your account.
If you cancel within 24 hours of the class start time, your class credit for that session will be forfeited. No refund, replacement credit, or transfer will be issued. This applies regardless of your reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, or other personal circumstances.
If you hold a class package and fail to attend a booked class without cancelling (“no-show”), the class credit for that session will be forfeited. No credit will be reinstated for a no-show under any circumstances.
If you are a Founder Member and fail to attend a booked class without cancelling (“no-show”), you will not lose your class credit. However, a no-show fee of £15 will be charged automatically to the payment method held on file. By booking a class as a Founder Member, you authorise Grip Studio to apply this charge.
These policies exist because your booked place prevents another client from attending. A class credit does not expire while it sits unused in your account — it is only consumed when you use it or forfeit it under this policy. By booking, you accept this responsibility.
Grip Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class at any time. Where Grip Studio initiates a cancellation, any credit used to book the affected class will be reinstated in full to your account.
C5 — Founder Membership Terms
This section applies exclusively to clients who hold a Grip Studio Founder Membership. The Founder Membership is a limited, time-specific offering and is not transferable or replicable once the Founder period has closed.
The Grip Studio Founder Membership (“Founder Membership”) is offered at a fixed promotional monthly rate to clients who sign up during the designated Founder period as published on the Platform.
The Founder rate is locked for the duration of a continuous, uninterrupted Founder Membership. It is personal to the named member and cannot be transferred to any other person.
Any lapse in payment — for any reason — will permanently and irrevocably forfeit the Founder rate. The membership will not be reinstated at the Founder rate. If the client wishes to rejoin after a lapse, they will be required to purchase at the prevailing standard rate at that time. No exceptions will be made to this clause.
Grip Studio reserves the right to withdraw the Founder Membership offering at any time with respect to new sign-ups. This does not affect existing Founder Members whose memberships are in good standing.
The Founder Membership is for the client’s personal use only. It cannot be shared, gifted, or used by any other person.
The Founder Membership has a minimum term of 12 months from the date of first payment. Cancellation requests submitted before the 12-month minimum term has elapsed will not be accepted and the membership will continue until the minimum term is complete.
After the 12-month minimum term, a Founder Member may cancel by providing two calendar months’ written notice to info@grip-pilates.com. Notice takes effect from the date it is received. The member will be charged for and retain access during the full notice period. No refund will be issued for the notice period.
On cancellation, the Founder rate is permanently forfeited. Re-enrolment at the Founder rate is not available under any circumstances.
Grip Studio may terminate a Founder Membership immediately and without refund where the client has: (a) provided false information on this form; (b) breached these Terms or the Studio Code of Conduct; (c) posed a risk to the health or safety of staff or other clients; or (d) failed to pay any amount due. In the case of termination for non-payment, the minimum term and notice provisions remain enforceable and Grip Studio reserves the right to recover all outstanding amounts.
Upon termination by Grip Studio without cause, a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the current billing month will be issued. In all other cases of termination, no refund will be issued.
C6 — Class Package Terms
Class packages (“Packages”) consist of a fixed number of class credits purchased at a bundled rate. The number of credits and applicable pricing are as published on the Platform at the time of purchase.
All Package credits expire on the date stated at the time of purchase. Expired credits are forfeited and no refund or extension will be issued. It is your responsibility to track your credit balance and expiry date via the Platform.
Package credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law.
Package credits are for the sole use of the named purchaser and cannot be transferred, gifted, or shared with any other person.
The same cancellation and no-show policy in Section C4 applies to class bookings made using Package credits. A late cancellation or no-show will result in forfeiture of one credit. No credit will be reinstated for late cancellations or no-shows regardless of circumstances.
Grip Studio reserves the right to amend Package pricing and credit quantities for future purchases at any time. This does not affect Packages already purchased.
If Grip Studio permanently ceases trading, unused and unexpired Package credits will be refunded on a pro-rata basis within 30 days.
C7 — Payments & Chargebacks
All payments are processed securely through the Platform via Mindbody, Inc. Grip Studio does not store, access, or process your card or payment information directly.
Founder Membership fees are charged on a recurring basis on the same calendar date each month. It is your responsibility to maintain sufficient funds and to keep your payment details current on the Platform. Failed payments will result in immediate suspension of membership access. Grip Studio reserves the right to terminate a membership where payment remains outstanding for more than 7 days.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider without first contacting Grip Studio is a breach of these Terms. Grip Studio reserves the right to recover the disputed amount together with any associated bank charges and fees, and to suspend or permanently terminate the membership or account of any client who initiates an unjustified chargeback.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by any provision of these Terms.
C8 — Studio Code of Conduct
All clients agree to abide by the following at all times on Grip Studio premises:
Arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class. The studio door will be closed once class begins and late entry may be refused where it would disrupt or endanger other participants.
Wear grip socks at all times on the reformer studio floor. Grip socks are available for purchase at the studio. Bare feet and regular socks are not permitted on the reformers.
Remove outdoor footwear before entering the reformer studio.
Silence and stow your mobile phone before entering class. Phone use during class is not permitted.
Treat all staff, instructors, and fellow clients with courtesy and respect. Grip Studio operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or harassing behaviour.
Do not bring food or alcoholic beverages onto the studio floor.
Follow all instructor directions regarding the safe use of reformer equipment.
Do not adjust reformer spring settings without instructor guidance.
Report any equipment damage or fault to staff immediately.
Grip Studio reserves the right to require any client to leave the premises without liability where their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or in breach of this Code. Persistent breach may result in permanent exclusion without refund.
C9 — Age Requirements
Grip Studio classes are open to clients aged 16 and over.
Clients aged 16 or 17 must have a parent or legal guardian who has read and agreed to these Terms accompany them to their first class in person to sign this form. Remote or digital consent is not accepted for clients under 18. The parent or guardian accepts full joint and several liability for the minor’s participation and agrees to all terms herein on the minor’s behalf.
Grip Studio reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to decline participation to any person who cannot provide adequate evidence of age or parental consent.
C10 — Intellectual Property
All class content, programmes, materials, and branding are the intellectual property of Grip Studio Ltd or its licensors.
Clients must not record video or audio of any class without the prior written consent of Grip Studio and all individuals who would appear in the recording.
C11 — Force Majeure
Grip Studio shall not be liable for any failure to provide services where such failure arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including pandemic, government restriction, fire, flood, utility failure, or third-party supplier failure. Class credits will be preserved and expiry dates suspended during any period of forced studio closure caused by such circumstances.
C12 — Amendments to Terms
Grip Studio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material amendments will be communicated by email with reasonable notice before the effective date. Continued use of the Platform or attendance at classes after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The current version of these Terms is always available at grip-pilates.com.
C13 — Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith through direct communication before initiating formal proceedings. Any unresolved dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Section D — Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
IMPORTANT — Please read carefully. This section contains a waiver of certain legal rights. By signing, you are voluntarily accepting risk and releasing Grip Studio Ltd from certain liabilities. If you do not understand any part of this section, seek independent legal advice before signing.
D1 — Nature of Risk
Reformer Pilates involves physical exertion and the use of spring-resistance equipment. Participation carries an inherent risk of physical injury including, without limitation, muscle strains and tears, joint injuries, ligament and tendon damage, back and neck injuries, falls from equipment, cardiovascular events, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. These risks exist even when qualified instructors and all reasonable safety protocols are in place.
D2 — Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk
I, the undersigned, voluntarily accept the inherent risks of participating in reformer Pilates and all other activities and services offered by Grip Studio Ltd. I confirm that:
My participation is entirely voluntary.
I have read Section B of this form and I accept full personal responsibility for ensuring I am medically fit to participate before every class.
I understand that Grip Studio instructors are fitness professionals and not medical practitioners. Nothing communicated by an instructor constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
I will stop exercising immediately and inform the instructor if I experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, breathlessness, or any other adverse symptom during a class.
I will not attend or participate under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair my physical or cognitive capacity.
D3 — Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, I agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Grip Studio Ltd and its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, self-employed instructors, contractors, agents, and representatives (“the Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, costs (including legal costs), injuries, and liabilities of any kind, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or otherwise, arising from or connected with:
My participation in any Grip Studio class, programme, or activity;
My use of any equipment, facilities, or premises at or operated by Grip Studio;
Any instruction, guidance, or advice provided by Grip Studio staff or instructors;
Any accident or injury occurring on or about Grip Studio premises;
My own acts, omissions, failure to disclose health conditions, or negligence;
My failure to seek or follow appropriate medical advice prior to participation.
This release includes claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties, subject to the limitations in Clause D4.
D4 — Statutory Limitations
Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under English law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Your statutory rights are not affected.
D5 — Indemnification
Subject to Clause D4, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any third-party claims, demands, losses, costs, or liabilities (including reasonable legal costs) arising from my conduct, actions, or omissions whilst on Grip Studio premises or during any Grip Studio activity, including claims arising from my failure to take appropriate health precautions.
D6 — Emergency Medical Authorisation
In the event of a medical emergency in which I am incapacitated and unable to communicate, I authorise Grip Studio staff to: (a) call the emergency services immediately; (b) administer first aid to the extent of their training; and (c) share my emergency contact details with responding emergency services. I accept responsibility for any costs arising from emergency medical treatment obtained on my behalf. Grip Studio’s liability under this clause is limited to acts of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
D7 — Personal Property
Grip Studio accepts no liability for loss of, or damage to, personal property brought onto its premises. Clients bring personal belongings at their own risk.
D8 — Severability
If any provision of this waiver is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

I have read and understood this entire document — including the Booking and Cancellation Policy (Section C4), the Founder Membership Terms (Section C5), the Class Package Terms (Section C6), and the Studio Code of Conduct (Section C8) — and I agree to be legally bound by all Terms & Conditions set out in Section C.

Slough Station is served by the Elizabeth Line and mainline services from London Paddington and Reading. Bike stands are available near the studio if you are cycling.
By car
Parking on site at Horlicks Quarter is very limited — there are only a handful of visitor bays available and these fill up quickly.
We recommend parking at the TVU (Thames Valley University) car park, which is roughly an 8-minute walk from the studio. It charges £1 per hour and has plenty of availability throughout the day.
Tip: allow yourself 15 minutes from parking at TVU to get changed and ready for class.
